What brought you to your current role? After a significant period of work, effort and development as a Director of the College of Law and Police Sci-ences at the Dubai Police Academy, I was able to develop the academy system through many initiatives that were related to digital trans-formation and data portals for students, employees and teachers at the academy. I led initiatives and projects to spread the knowledge for students’ practical researches to develop a database in the Academy’s new portal which hosted a virtual library for academics and recruits around the middle east. In 2022, I broke the Guinness World Record with Expo2020 and won over 12 global awards for the Dubai Police related to human resources, education, innovation, technology, and leadership which were the elements that significantly contributed to my work as a director of scholarship and recruitment in human resources. Also, I contributed in administrative business at high strategic Dubai government levels in developing a predictive system of future jobs and s p e c i a l i s a - tions with the Dubai Executive Council. I helped the Dubai Gove rn - m e n t Human Resources Department develop a systematic mechanism related to monitoring the required majors within the next 20 years. All these roles and responsibilities have played a major part in getting to where I am today. Can you share a little bit about what you’ve been up to over the past 12 months? Last year, I worked on various projects, including HR operation LAB administration, which was still in its early phases and needed to be adequately established. The first process I worked on was a comprehensive digital transformation and automotive services, which resulted in having all services integrated in one management platform taking less time, effort and staff members. We also saved up over 18 million dirhams yearly in management costs by implementing new processes for the data analy-sis system and machine learning programs in today’s decision-making operations. I worked on creating new unique processes for the continuous learning of the Dubai Police Employees to ensure continued education in Diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees for all employees who work both partand full-time by creating one of kind EFAAD platform. Thanks to this we have been able to eliminate a large number of systems that cost Dubai Police approximately 40 million dirhams and replace them with new strategies to attract talent, such as the Collaborators Initiative and the Academic Recruitment Initiative, both of which played a significant role in the process of finding new, young talent. What are the most recent achievements you’re most proud of? Today, I am proud to have received more than 12 global, regional, and local awards at the management level in various categories and classifications related to education, data science, innovation, as well as in the field of empowering citizens and technical leadership.
