Gulftainer went through two CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S.) vetting processes to qualify to be able to proceed with the agreements with the U.S. port authorities in Delaware and Canaveral where we now operate. The CFIUS committee includes heads from the Department of the Treasury (chair), the Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Commerce, Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Energy, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and the Office of Science & Technology Policy. The vetting process is very robust and includes not only information submissions but also in-person meetings with members of the committee. Hamriyah
