Mr. Sanal Kumar, the Present Chairman and Managing Director, founded the Classic Fashion Apparel Industry in Al-Hassan Industrial Estate, Ramtha, Irbid, Jordan in the year 2003. From 300 people and 130 machines working in a single factory, the Company has grown to 13 factories and 7 satellite units producing over 350,000 to 400,000 garments per day with an average run of 200 styles per month. While the increase in men and machines has been over ninety-fold, the increase in the annual turnover is over two-hundred-and-fifty-fold. Firm Profile Classic Fashion’s ancillary units launder 50,000 garments by wet & dry processes, print 150,000 to 200,000 thousand garments and embroider 100,000 garments, all in a single day. Classic Fashion uses advanced laser technology for perfect finishing, operating 18 machines with four heads, 6 with two heads and 1 sampling machine with single head. Beside the factories and satellite units, the Company has successfully diversified into other related spheres of activity. A washing unit that can wash over 50,000 denims/garments per day, a printing unit with an installed capacity of printing on 150,000 to 200,000 garments per day, an embroidery unit that can embroider up to 100,000 garments per day and measures to minimize the adverse effects on the environment and natural resources like effluent treatment plants are some such diversifications.
