A highly driven leader, he excels in building and expanding businesses from the ground up, having proven success in this area throughout his career. Prior to joining Shaza as President and CEO, Simon served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Kempinski. Before Kempinski, Simon spent 16 years at Hyatt International, where he held key roles in development, tax planning, corporate strategy, and hotel finance. Most recently, he was Vice President of Finance for the Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong. With his vast experience and deep understanding of the regional business landscape, Simon plays a crucial role in the growth and development of the Shaza brand. Since taking the lead at Shaza Hotels in 2010, Simon has focused on creating a unique luxury brand, shaping both its service philosophy and design concepts to reflect a distinctive, authentic culture across all hotels.
